The duomo in Siena has very ornate architecture. Many in the group took the optional tour of the inside of the church which is characterized by its striped black and white marble. Also, on the interior floor are detailed and colorful marble drawings. We particularly enjoyed entering the one room that houses actual Gregorian chant manuscripts and colorful frescoes.
